Our Mission

CardVieu exists to make credit card decisions easier for everyday US consumers. The US credit card market has hundreds of options with complex rewards structures, variable annual fees, and sign-on bonuses that change constantly. We cut through the noise with independent research, honest comparisons, and straightforward analysis that doesn’t favor one issuer over another.

We do not accept payment to rank a card favorably, place a card in a “best of” list it doesn’t belong in, or suppress negative information about a card’s fees or terms.

What We Cover

CardVieu focuses exclusively on US consumer and small business credit cards:

Editorial Standards

Independence: Editorial decisions are made by our research team, not by advertisers or affiliate partners. A card issuer cannot pay to appear in a “best of” list or receive a more favorable rating. Cards are evaluated on their objective merits: rewards structure, annual fee, benefits, and suitability for specific spending profiles.

Accuracy: We verify card details — annual fees, earn rates, welcome bonuses, and benefits — against official issuer websites and cardholder agreements before publishing. Credit card terms change frequently; we note the last review date on every article and update content when terms change.

Transparency: When we link to a card application, those links may be affiliate links. If you apply and are approved, we may receive a compensation from the issuer. This compensation never influences our ratings or editorial content. See our Advertiser Disclosure for full details.

Expertise: Our content is researched by people who actively use travel rewards and credit card programs. We book the awards we write about, hold the cards we review, and verify transfer partner availability and program rules from direct experience.

How We Make Money

CardVieu is a free resource supported by two revenue streams:

  1. Affiliate commissions: When you apply for a credit card through a link on CardVieu and are approved, we may receive a commission from the card issuer or an affiliate network. The commission amount varies by card and issuer. This does not affect what you pay — annual fees, interest rates, and card terms are set by the issuer, not us.

  2. Display advertising: CardVieu may display advertisements served through Google AdSense and other advertising networks. These ads are based on contextual factors and may use cookies to show relevant ads. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Neither revenue stream influences which cards appear in our comparison tables or what ratings we assign. We regularly feature cards where we have no affiliate relationship and exclude cards with affiliate programs when they do not serve our readers’ interests.

Content Updates

Credit card terms — welcome bonuses, annual fees, earn rates, and benefits — change frequently. We review our content on a rolling basis and update articles when terms change. Every article shows a “Last Updated” date in the header. If you notice outdated information, please contact us.
